AMENITIES AT MRU

MRU RECREATION CENTRE

Recharge, transform, and gain resilience as you swim, climb, lift, run, yoga, or pow wow dance at the MRU gym. Studio members will have access to an “internal staff” rate of $30/month for recreation memberships.

CONSERVATORY

The inclusive Taylor Centre for Performing Arts (TCPA) is the recipient of the City of Calgary’s Award for Accessibility. The 95,000-square-foot building features accessible seating in all our performance spaces. Assistive listening devices are available for the Bella Concert Hall and TransAlta Pavilion.

RIDDELL LIBRARY AND LEARNING CENTRE (RLLC):

The innovative Riddell Library and Learning Centre (RLLC) is a transformative place made up of a dedicated group of faculty, staff and administrators who are committed to providing excellence in services, resources and facilities to promote and enhance lifelong learning.

CHILD CARE

MRU Child Care Centre is a non-profit organization that operates in close relationship with Mount Royal University. Families served at the centre include MRU Students, Faculty and Staff as well as the general public.

FOOD SERVICES

The Table (Location 2nd floor Main Building): The Table uses fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to create meals-from-scratch daily. 

Barrow Espresso: Barrow offers the best local roasted espresso and filtered coffee, fresh baked goods from local backers, and a wide range of loose leaf teas. Barrow began as a student pilot project at Mount Royal University by Ryan Wenger.

The Hub (Location 2nd floor Main Building, West Gate): The Hub is a full-service sit down restaurant with a fabulous selection of delectable delights on the menu. Owned and operated by the Student Association of Mount Royal.

Wyckham House (Location 2nd floor Main Building, West Gate): Check out the food court area in Wyckham House for a variety of delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner possibilities to satisfy almost any palette at reasonable prices. Kiosk operating times vary.
